Umlaut is a San Francisco-based creative editorial company that has
done award-winning work on commercials, independent features and
music videos, as well as interactive campaigns. The company actively
promotes the cross-pollination of disciplines and encourages its
editors to bring outside interests to their work whether it is music,
filmmaking or art.

Opened in September 2003, the company is located in a beautiful loft –
complete with bright airy space and metal catwalks -- in San Francisco's
SOMA district in South Beach.
